Just a funny story. I tried Zulus for the first time last night, and after a few turns of exploring I came across Ghandi. I had read in the forums that he can be pretty brutal and aggressive so I thought I'd give war a shot right off the bat.

He begged me for no war and offered me a bunch of gold, which I thought was pretty peculiar at this early stage.

I refused, and then I lined my warrior up to see if I could dent the city.

Turns out Ghandi doesn't believe in defending his cities. I took Delhi right there unopposed and wiped out Ghandi probably after 5 turns.

The rest of the match was pretty intense, since all of the Civs were located on this one small continent, and the rest of the world was ocean and one-tile islands (that I explored - didn't explore much since it was basically nonstop war with 2 Civs at a time).

I'm enjoying the random maps; the generator does a good job.

Funny...I did the same thing with the Germans against (who else?) the RUssians. My first warrior I by pure luck made a b-line right for the unknown, turns out it was Russia's capital. So, literally in 8 turns (INCLUDING the 5 it takes build your first warrior!) I'd already knocked out a civ--that's gotta be a record for anyone NOT playing as Aztec. It's easier with them because they can rush there first warrior and sack a city quickly.
