Possible fix for Manpower-Tech Loop- Loading Time- Advancement Screen

Accidentally put wrong modinfo in first time, have put right one in now(didn't have manpower fix, I put in the one I was using to fix advancement screen)
Also noticed when I added the tech prereq file it didn't over-write the one I already had in there so if you downloaded this file earlier, you will need to download again for prerequisites to work right. Sorry about that, I think I try to work with too many files at once sometimes.:crazyeye:

unfortunetly ive tried the new fix and have attempted to play 3 times every time about 6 turns in I get a ctd, but the load time is a lot faster
 
last night I tried it, I think that was the most recent. I could also be one of the other mods I use, ill try removing some and try it out again. either way thanks for the help

When you encounter a ctd please send us the logfiles.
This make it much easier for us to point the problem out.

A good tipp for CCTP is always cleaning your cache, removing your moddata before starting a new game with a new version of CCTP.
 
I think I figured it out, it looks like it was the bnw mass effect mod that was causing it to crash. im on turn 79 and have not had 1 problem!. thank you for the help and getting the mod playable again.

It was in regards to trying to load your save game and after a long load time the game crashes to desktop with no errors. I lost an over 290 turn and 500 turn campaigns respectively because of this perplexing issue but no one seems to have an answer for it. Thank you in advance i really miss playing this awesome mod and i am scared to devote myself to another campaign after losing my first two.

I can not really say, as I haven't had that particular issue, and am not sure about it. I can say the main problem I found was in relation to modern era techs, namely manned space flight, unmanned flight and space research. If you were researching any of those at the time of crash, then maybe so, but I personally can't guarantee it. If you do play and there is a late game crash, you could post your save, or autosave from before the CTD and I could try to find the problem. I would offer to do that now, but old saves are not compatible with fix as the game sees it as a different mod.

Wow thanks for the quick response in answer to your post i didn't make it that far into the game i think i was in the renaissance era in the 500 turn one and the other one was at a much earlier era. I'll tell you what even though i am already playing a campaign with the Communitas Expansion Pack mod i'll go ahead and download your latest fix and devote a few hrs to a new cctp campaign and see if i can recreate the issue and i'll post it here. Hopefully that will help you guys out in shedding some light into this issue. And thank you for helping Gilga out by the way. Cheers...

I am currently on a new play-through trying to see if I can find anything (I'm on turn 132 and so far no problems) I had made it much farther when I discovered the later tech problem with no problem up till then. I think there is a wonder that causes a CTD while playing and see if it's fixable this play-through. (I'm actually playing right now, but tab to here once in a while while other civs turns process since I'm playing a a giant map w/34 civs) I figure if there's going to be a problem, it'll definitely happen with a big game.Good luck.

Which wonder do you mean?
Normally when one of the wonders where buggy, there should no crash at all.

Instead the game wouldnt start or something related would happen (logfiles shows no entry in this case)

PS. i answered you question in the bug thread maybe it helps to point the problem out.
