Possible to turn off building advice?

I want to turn off the building advice (the "Recommended" buildings and units) that show up every time a city finishes something. I find it distracting.

Is there a built-in way to do this, or is this moving into Modding territory?

Maybe that's what the 'Enable Sid's tips' checkbox is for in the Options dialog? I dunno, haven't tried it yet.

No, I turned off Sid's Tips. And Advisor Advice. It's still there.

Enable the option "limit popup windows". They will still pop up eventually, but not until the end of the turn when there is nothing else to do.

Does anyone know how to disable the hyper-annoying "Maybe should build a settler" messages?

I don't get those "build a settler" popups anymore. The only thing I unchecked in the options was the "advisor popups".
