My son has been experimenting with scenarios lately. Today he tested out a work in progress scenario in which you, as the Spanish, have to conquer the Aztecs, which he based off this map in a book on the subject:
It's a short 40-turn scenario, and after joyously conquering the Aztec capital on the very last turn, he was puzzled to find that they were still in the game. After reviewing the Summary Replay, it revealed that the Aztecs set out on a long journey to preserve their culture in the unlikeliest of places:
On the very last turn of the scenario, parked right under the Spanish starting location, the last place you would ever think to look for their last remaining city.
