Let's see the best cities you've managed to make (without using the editor). It can be a city with a lot of great wonders, an awesome culture city, a great science city, a great production city, whatever floats your boat.

Mine is a research city. 561 beakers per turn and still growing. Too bad I wasn't a financial civ or it would be way higher. And it still produced enough to make a spaceship part for me mwahaha.

Yeah I know this doesn't really belong in the "strategy" forum but the general discussions forum is a cesspool of complainers so cut me some slack.

Bah, who cares whose is better? Maybe I should have posted some really crappy city then everyone would post theirs hehe.

Sorry, Shillen, I'm too busy playing to get screenies

This is from my 3CC culture game. The culture slide is on 100% (cheating :p ) and there is 37 turns left in the game.

Would you guys be willing to post savegames? I'm not good at city development so seeing what makes a city work would help me :)

I really don't see how looking in a city could help him. Just read in the Civilopedia what buildings do.

i duno how to ul

my city has 770 science , being stable (means enough food and decent production)..

Mecca.. Arabians.. having in at least 6 great scientist and 6 scient specialists, and 5 foodplains, etc...

The best way to get a "super city" is to stuff every GP you get into that city.
GP means more shields, science, culture, money and food. If you really want to, you can even steer all your specialists to focus on a specific GP. With enough merchants and lots of floodpains 50+ cities in real games are very possible if you choose to go that route.

It means that it has a source of power generation -- a power plant or the Three Gorges Dam. Do they still only help if you build a factory along with it?
