Whoa!
YOu own all of Africa and Europe and Half of Asia!
OH MY GOD
And SouthAmerica
Well, I set out to follow Alexander's footsteps -- nt stopping at the Indus. This was after 2 weeks, 4 hrs a day, extra on weekends... my wife was a little upset :D
I was waltzing through South America, NA, to be next.. and Japan decided that this would be a good time to attack, with all my forces overseas. She missed the 36 MA i had left at home, just in case--
Makes me think they don't really know everything.
Unfortunately, Culture Win kicked in just before I absorbed Japan.

What else is he going to do with those great leaders? You can't build an army if you only have one city.

I am sure you can build an army with only 1 city...........

or is it in the OCC rules?

Lol, Inter32s win looks just like mine, only he had more units and smaller AIs

What size is that world map?
This is the KittenOfChaos huge -- seems like 256x256.
Available in mods both for vanilla and PTW
Great Map.

Ralph-x:
You must have at least 4 cities for each army you create.
You cannot create an army if you have less than 4 cities.

In the OCC always war game I built the Colossus, and rushed the other three wonders with leaders. Of course I lost by conquest 2 turns after that screenshot (shouldn't have tried to get Copernicus), but I was proud to have survived until 400 AD. I didn't expect to win (it was Deity after all ;) ).

Look at all the nuclear plants your building, Risky!:goodjob:

Well....I never build nuclear plants...I hate them.... too risky..you're right. The city, just right after it finishes building something, by default starts building nuclear plants...and I hate that. I always change production into something else.

I've never had a problem with nuke plants, from what I understand, they only ever have a chance of blowing when the city goes into disorder. Risky business if you try to do a government swap in the modern age, but there's hardly ever enough of the game left for the threat of a nuke plant blowing to serve as much of a deterrant to building them, and getting one single city nuked by a faulty plant probably won't turn the tide in either direction. Nuke plants are excellent things to build in your highest producing cities at that point in the game, don't let that blowing up chance discourage you from using them.

When Paint loads go to 'edit' and press paste.
Save the screenie now loaded in Paint.
Close Paint.

Civ3 will run in the background while all of this is going on just like any other Windows application.

Didn't take a screenshot of it, but my proudest moment was being able to out-build the AI (i.e. no GLs) to the Pyramids on Deity this week (after months of trying it).

(Little tip for anybody else trying it - add your initial worker to your city buiulding the Pyramids to give a bit more assistance.)

build a setler to start with, build another city, then just build granary in 2nd city, then just make 3 or 4 settlers, addign them all to the 1st city, building the pyramids. after it reaches its max size, then stat expansion with the second city, all the time keeping an eye on pyramids.
