Pre-Builds Change of Situation

Well, after us declaring war and the Babylonians joinign in against us, I think we definately should reconsider these pre-builds. I would like to say, when I first created these pre-build polls, I was not expecting us to rush into so messy of a situation. Here'ses your choises:

Continue as we are now
Continue only the Pre-build in Zojoji
Continue only the Pre-build in Fanatikku
Stop the prebuilds and change them
Abstain

This poll will last for 42 hours.

If we vote to stop prebuilds, deciding what each of the two pre-builds would be decided by either Govenor Zarn, a poll, or some other option. (I don't know)

In my opinion, we have as much of a chance of getting 450 Shields in Fanatikku, as we do of getting a Leader that can build Sun Tzu's for us. (Can we afford to keep Fanatikku on Wonder Duty for 30 Turns?)

We will still have Fanatikku to produce military.

At least one of them has to be stopped - we have a war on 2 fronts. If we keep one, it should be Zozoji

Zojoji should continue with the prebuild because of the possibility of a palace switch. Fanatikku should switch to the war effort though.

We should consider one more thing: Fanatikku already produced large number of shields. If we stop the prebuild and switch to most expensive improvement (Colosseum) we will waste 29 shields. For example switching immediately to Swordsman would waste around 120 shields.
Currently Hanging Gardens will be finished in 11 turns. If we restart project that would be 20, in Zojoji even more. And we should also consider Sun Tzu is even more expensive.
Zojoji can produce units only 1 turn slower than Fanatikku. It seems it would be too big waste to waste Fanatikku's shields now.
We could use Zojoji to produce army and let Fanatikku finish the wonder.
I am now thinking to change my vote to Fanatikku only..

Umm, before you change yer vote, invy, consider this. Fanatikku will riot in 6 turns, so that city really needs the Colosseum. The 29 shields that you claim will be lost if the Capital switches to a Colosseum is only like 2 turns worth of Fanatikku's production. 2 turns.

Zojoji, OTOH, will not riot for at least 15 turns, maybe even 30 turns. This is because it's not growing very fast *whisper* no irrigation */whisper*. So you may want to consider these two factors before you change yer vote. I'm not saying that Zojoji must build a Wonder, I'm saying if we do have one city building a Wonder, it should be Zojoji.

I am with you on this one Invy. I originally voted for keeping Zojoji as the prebuild. I do think that changing to the colosseum will be a big help in the happiness situation for Fanatikku. Maybe we should not have been so hasty in ordering this war, or either that, we were too late to start this war. I believe that if the war effort starts to go better than it has been, then we should keep on city for a prebuild. If we change our minds and stop the prebuilds, what will we change the production to?

We need at least one prebuild so we can actually have a chance at a wonder of some sort. As to where this prebuild should be is an entirely different matter.

Like I said earlier, probably Zarn or a poll would decide, but I'm not sure. I think it would most likely be Zarn.

I'm pretty sure that Fanatikku would be switched to a collosium. I'm not so sure about Zojoji.

I think we should continue building a wonder in Fanatikku because we only need 11 turns to finish Hanging Gardens. Thats almost like 1 TC.
Zojoji would be better choice to build a wonder but I don't want to lose Fanatikku shields.
Considering hapiness problem, Fanatikku can be garissoned with 1 more spearman making 1 unhappy citizen content. That means no riot for 10+ turns.

EDIT: Poll votes are 11 for Stop prebuilds vs 6 for Zojoji. I'd definatelly like this poll to be declared invalid until this discussion is finished. Than with should post advantages and disadvantages of each option so people can get better view of this important issue.
