Prettier minimap

Is there a way to make the minimap look nicer like in Civ V? I think the city dots are too large and don't want any colours showing on the ocean. Are there any mods or options to change this?

I assume you have the base game, because I believe the city dots were made smaller in one of the expansions. I found the following mod in the workshop:

I have the platinum pack, but the dots still seem pretty large. I tried that mod but there is still a slight shading on ocean tiles. I know I'm nitpicking but it triggers my OCD.

Sorry for the wrong assumption then. I don't know if there is any mod for shading on ocean tiles, but maybe others could help.

Yeah, the original minimap was a horrible abomination. But even now, after the update, it is still a huge downgrade from Civ5 beauty.
I think it is coded entirely in the DLL, except a few params in .artdef file that can be tweaked.

Good lord, what a horror. Be thankful for small mercies I guess; anything is an improvement over that.
