TheLopez asked me to make this and I was hesitant at first, but with nothing better to do tonight I sat down and tried to make something decent. I have no idea how this will work as a coastal building, but here's a quick render shot of what I have so far. Is it too big, too small, too simple, too horrible, too ????



Do I need a plane for the water or is it okay to have ships and the wharf simply below the axis?

Simple is good, Complex is bad for the mind. I like it.Just remove the ships maybe so they don't end up on land if it does not work well in-game

i agree about ships. removing them will not only make it easier if the placement isnt perfect but i also think if anything ended up looking bad or out of place with it, it would be the ships. you could probably throw a skin on that now and itd look well in place.

Woodelf, I changed my mind. I think you are a "3ds max noob lvl2" already.

To get to level 3 it needs to be skinned and to get to level 4 it needs to be animated

Harsh, but true.

I'll skin it up tomorrow TL and see how it looks then. Any desires for ship colors, freight colors? The cranes will most likely be yellow.

Just have the plain Dole and the ship should be white with the Dole stuff on the sides. And can you make another version without the ships?
