Preview: Dwight Eisenhower animated leaderhead

I still need to figure out the ratio of frames for animated leaderheads, but here's a preview of Happy, Cautious, and Mad.

I tried to make the preview morphed but the file would be too big. Lots of quality was lost so I could make the image as small as possible. The real animation has beautiful quality.

I'm going to work on the other ages with his happy face, because I don't want to start and have to change them because nobody likes the other moods.

Let me know what you think. I want to get it as good as possible because Ike is my favorite president (even though he was a republican).

Happy is frame 1, neutral is frame 61, and angry is frame 121(which I'm sure you already know.) When I made Leaderheads from still pictures I made a three frame animation with the above three frames, then used JASC Photo Shop to 'morph' between the frames with 59 steps. That way the expression slowly morphed from one mood to the other.

I know, but if you haven't noticed I'm from a highly Democratic state. Gotta stick up for my Kennedys, Clintons, and Gores.

1 second. I don't think it matters to Civ3. I believe it overrides the frame rate with its own timing.

Hey, I have a friend from Boston and he's Republican. Course I did meet him when we were stationed together at Fort Sill. (Military Republicanism overrides Bostonian Democratism?)
All he ever did was keep rubbing my nose in to the fact that Boston has such great Italian food, and I was stuck in Oklahoma....

I didn't realize the Clintons were from Massachusets. Did they move again? I hadn't heard where the Gores settled down after being booted from Tennesee but its nice to see they found a friendly neighborhood!

OK, thanks. How do I prevent it from rendering from 121 frames to like 1000. I downloaded ccm01's Napolean and it took him like a full minut to smile in the civ chooser screen, so I opened the flic and the thing was like over 1000 frames. And when I make my own leaderheads as 121 frames, save it as a flic, close it and open it again, it's over 1000 frames.

Oh no way! Clintons live in New York now. But we love him and he loves us. He said Boston was his favorite place to go. Some people in Boston have potraits of him on their walls like they do of JFK. Go to WhiteHouse.org and read his bio. That's pretty much how we feel about him. Everybody else just thinks of the sex scandal. He really did so much for the country that nobody 25 years from now will know about just because he was horny. I think he should have gotten some. He should have gotten some everyday just for being president, like an award I have no idea where Gore is living now, but where I'm from he should be the president. Afganistan would have been a big hole in the ground by September 12th.

Aha! I hated that. That the was the worst &$@&#$* problem I ever had making Leader flics! BEFORE you save it goto the (Edit) menu and (Select All) then goto the (Animation) menu and select (Frame Properties) set "Display Time (in 1/100th sec)" to 1.

Now it should save without the gazillion extra frames.

I got all but the middle ages one done, cause I don't know how I should make him. Conquistador? Knight? King? The Emporer with no clothes? I'd like to have him have a shiny chest plate and stuff but I can't find any good pics.

Maybe I should make the Braveheart one the Middle Ages flic, and find something more primative for Ancient times... ah well I'll think about it in the morning.

Ike will probably be done tomorrow night or the night after. I still need to make all the PCX's but that shouldn't take too long. Also, I'm going to make a small website so I know how many people have downloaded it 'cause it's far too big to store here.

I'm not sure what I'll do after this leaderheads done. I wanted to make an animated Che but traffic and downloads is picking up for my Guerilla Tactics mod, so I'll most likely finish that before I get back into the leaderhead thing. BTW, I downloaded Poser and I'll play with it soon.

As for now, I'm going to relax, watch some stupid movie, and get some sleep.

And that is my ruling.

Excellent job on the Medieval Ike! Good choice on picture, I think that probably looks more Ike-ish than full plate armor.

I'm working on a website too, to many people have been asking for a copy of the Elf Princess Leader Flic and she doesn't even have clothes yet! (Or IS THAT why they want the flic?)
