Priest of Winter Bug? or goody?

I let the AI auto play for hundred turns so that I could take a shower and when I got back I had an additional High Priest of Winter. Unlike the other three he was unnamed - just "High Priest of Winter". Now my question is how did the AI do this? Is their away of getting a other ones? Maybe though a dungeon? I WBed some other priest in and tried to see if a captured one could be upgraded, but they could not. So what kind of bug is this and if it is not how can I do it? Could there be another unit in the game that can be captured that would upgrade to a priest unit? If so let me know so I can try them.

You probably have ai no minimum levels selected. That allows the AI to build units instead of having to upgrade into it, so he would have been able to build the high priest directly.
