Just wondering...but when reading the various threads I see that some folks have pictures of different Civ units by their names on the left hand side of their posts. Also titles. Mine being "chieftian" . Where do these pictures come from and who decides that I am a chieftian and somebody else is say a warlord...or what ever?
Just an idle question!

You can choose any name you like, as long as its not offensive. The avators are only from versions of Civ 2 (Including ToT), Civ 1 and Civ 3. Battleships, and stealth units are limited for MOD use only.

The Avatars included units from Civ I, Civ II, and Civ 3. There are 207 avatars you can choose from!!

As said earlier, you just click on 'user cp' then on 'edit options'. At the bottom of that screen you can change the avatar.

To change your title you would click on 'edit profile'.

I believe the limitation is that you need to have been registered for at least 10 days and have made at least 10 posts before you can make changes to those.

Do you mean the area under the line? Like on mine it is the 'The only thing I know for sure is that I don't know anything' line......

That is called your signature. You can change it by clicking on 'user cp' on the top of the screen. From there you click on 'edit profile'. It is about half way down the screen.

You can change many options and things there also. I know some things require a user to be registered for at least 10 days and to have at least 10 posts before they can be changed, but many of them anyone can do as soon as they like. :)
