Problem getting game to run

For some odd reason my computer is not finding the Civ 4 disk. This is incredibly frustrating as the new patch doesn't have a crack yet. Has anyone any ideas how I can get my dvd-drive working?

I don't know, but another workaround would be to create a disk image on your hard drive, mount it (daemon tools), hide it (sd4hide), play.
