Problem installing patch v1.61

Hi all,

I have installed civ4 sometime ago and it works great. However I trying to install warlords, but it is asking me to install patch v1.61. I have down loaded it, but after running the patch file, it does an autoscan to see if civ4 is installed I get this meassge:

The setup has dectedted no version of civ4 is installed.

This update requires pervious version of the application is installed.

But it is installed...PLEASE HELP!!!

Uninstall and reinstall Civ. If you have problems uninstalling, ask again.

The normal uninstall procedure would be to go to Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, find Sid Meiers Civ and uninstall. If this won't work, you need to edit registry. Find idiot-friendly step-by-step instructions here (post #6):

Thanks...There is no option in my control panel so I will try the idiot friendly steps.
