If you ever try to host a custom scenario (a scenario you designed using map editor) while on a wireless router and if you are not directly connected into your router (using the transmitter) then I can only launch with 4 or less players. If I try to launch with more than 4 there seems to be some kind of bandwidth problem and map doesn't upload to the other players correctly and the game locks up.

Tough to help, not enaugh info. just my experiance - couldnt play some game more than 2 people once upon time, where LAN inbeween was built on hub/router all-in-one in center, because IP network used ISP asigned IP adreses that happened to be 2 pieces and something was configured off in thet box by ISP to limit just 2 PC acessing internet there. could work in workgroup, share files, but game wanted adresses. we fixed it easy, dont remember how.

can be your case at small probability. tiny one.
