Problem playing the Earth map

Whenever I try to start a new game using the Earth map, the game either get stuck at the leader loading screen until the game crashes, or the laptop freezes and I have to restart it.

There was an update for Nvidia, but I'm not sure if it is because of that, since this is only the second time I choose this map (the first one when it first came out a couple of months ago and worked fine).

I can start a game with all other maps with no problems.

same here tried multiple games and as soon as i meet a new leader game crashes.

Guys, I was having some sound issues in the game and an integrity check cleared it up. If you have tried that yet, give it a shot. Good luck. I've not played on the Earth Map to confirm any difference in the integrity check for that issue.

Thanks Buz! I put in a couple of hours to try this and nothing, didn't fixed the problem. Went ahead and disabled all the mods and bam, i'm back up. Only bad thing is that any saved games i have already started with a mod are trash now. I'm assuming the mods are causing the issue. Maybe it might have something to do with the new update that was released for the game. I'm assuming that if the original mod i was using is updated the old saved games i have might work. Worth a shot, haven't had time to actually try it.
