Problem with console

Hello everybody,

I cannot open the debug panel.
I have modified the config.ini file with debugpanel = 1 and then tried every possible key combinations : ² ~ ` ctrl alt shift...

Can you help me ?

From what I can find the ~ key is used to open the control panel, however that does assume a US keyboard layout. You should check to see what key on your keyboard maps to US ~.

Thank you very much for answering ! I checked that. On a french keyboard, ~ is ²
I tried ², [shift] ², [ctrl] ², [ctrl]+[shift] ², [alt] ² and so on with no success :-(

Then you should try the ~ on the US keyboard layout, which is shift + [the key to the left of "1"].

The AZERTY wikipedia page suggests that the ~ key is ALT + 2 Key (the normal number 2, not the smaller 2, which is pretty neat)

Thanks for moving my post and for the last answer of human machine.
In fact, on a french keyboard, the ~ is on the number 2 key, to the right of number 1.
I tried it as well, with no success...

I wonder if the problem does not come from the config.ini file. I changed the file which is in "My documents/My games" folder and swiched DebugPanel from 0 to 1.
Maybe it is not the right file but I have doubts : when I change other parameters in this file I can see the change in the game.
On the other hand, I tried every key combination I could imagine...
