Problem with CQUI. anyone can help?

I downloaded CQUI nightly build from github and loaded it in my game.
but after I create a new game and try to use it, there's a bug: when I click the gear button on bottom right to choose build item the list is empty. it seems that the city is not recognized: city name is shown as "$CITY_NAME$" or something like that, and there's no list on the right.

The nightly build was on Jan 4, and my Civ 6 is up to date on Mac.

I suppose the DLCs are cross-platform, right?

Not sure if anyone has seen similar problem, or where should I ask questions like this?

Is mac version.56?
CQUI nightly is only supporting .56

it shows 1.0.0.38(144268) on bottom left in main screen.
properties in steam shows: current content buildID: 1532545

Aspyr hasn't yet updated the Mac build to the Winter patch that came out 3 weeks ago for PC (as well as Poland and the Viking scenario DLCs). It's supposedly coming soon.
