problem with GOTM9 d/l

Has anyone successfully d/l GOTM9 yet? I have tried twice, and each time when I open the file in Civ it shuts down my Civ Is the .sav file corrupted, or is the problem with my machine? Someone please help me here.

Sorry Leowind, but I can load the game without any problems.

If you have Gold Edition, I could save the game and send it to you. Perhaps that'll solve the problem...

Okay, I was able to successfully download the zip version, and it is working. Thank Matrix for the offer of help, and double thanks if you sent the file already. Now to see if I can finish in a month...

Well, you're already home-n-dry, so this is a bit redundant, but I had a similar experience. The SAV file is not the same size as the file you get out of the ZIP file. So I conclude the SAV file is corrupted, or gets corrupted on download (file type problems in browser?), but the ZIP file is fine.

I downloaded the .SAV file and it works fine, i use classic.

I have MGE and the .sav worked for me as well...

But if there's anyone else who has the problems, just tell me and I'll assist you.
