Problem with Russian Leaderhead Animation File

I've been playing a few mods and always seem to draw Russia as a random opponent. things work OK until I get to the middle ages and then the game crashes whenever I try and contact Catherine, or vice versa. I've concluded there's a problem with the russian leaderhead animation-file. Can someone tell me how to check this, where to find the file and how to see if there's a problem and fix it?

After some investigation I have deduced the problem lies within the following folder:
CivilizationIIIComplete\Art\Flics
i.e. it is within the \Art\Flics section of the parent folder.
The problem is with one or both of two files: Ca_B01.flc or Ca_B02.flc
Unfortunately I have no way of looking at the files (as they are .flc files) so I don't know what's wrong.
If anyone has a copy of those files they can upload that would be useful
