Problems w/ adding wonders

Hey all,

I’ve been adding a few wonders to a mod I’m making, and the game crashes whenever I complete one, right before the wonder splash comes up. I’ve read the tutorial, and modified the pediaicons.txt file to start my wonder splashes at 74, and I’ve dumped the appropriate pcx files in the art directory, and for the life of me I can’t figure out what’s wrong. Is there something I’m forgetting to do, a file or something I need to copy? Or am I just doing it wrong? All help is appreciated.
 
The only thing that I can think of is that the editing tool is pumping out scenarios that in some ways aren't compatible with the 1.16f version of the game. I have the same problem myself, but with a set of customized Civ Advances instead of customized Wonders.

Is yours a divide by zero error? At least you get into the game...my scenario crashes right after the Pick Civilization/Difficulty Level screen.
 
Bah, I figured it out. I was saving the splash screens as RGB color pallettes, when it should be indexed color pallettes. One swap and everything works.

Dunno much about changing civ advances except that they never work. I've heard nothing but problems from everybody on that topic, so I'm staying very far away from it.
 
I added:

Corpus Juris Civilis (expansionist)
- Prereq: The Republic
- Puts a courthouse in every city on the continent

World Trade Center (commercial)
- Prereq: Corporation
- Puts a marketplace in every city on the continent, capitalization

The Unified Field Theory (scientific)
- Prereq: Superconducter
- Puts a library in every city, doubles effects of recyling centers

Supreme Copurt (small)
- Acts as another palace

The thing is, I wanted the Supreme Court to <i>double</i> the effects of courthouses, so I can eliminate corruption even more (w/o having to build police stations), but when I tested it in-game it didn't seem to do anything. Same thing with the WTC; originally, I had it double the effects of banks, but that didn't do anything either. I haven't advanced far enough in my test game to test the UFT, but seeing the other two, I have my doubts.
 
Would you post your files to the forum along with any necessary instructions on how to add the new wonders to the game?

I would love to incorporate them into my own games.

I've uploaded my mod to a page on angelfire. I never planned for it to be released publically, so I don't have good documentation on it. Unlessy you're extremely new at this, you should know how to add wonders and install a mod. Feel free to pillage anything you want from this and add it to your own mod, just don't take credit for the pictures and stuff.
