Problems with pop-ups and savegame window

Hi everyone, I encounter these two problems:
1) when, after some turns of play, I go over an item with the mouse arrow to view its pop-up infos (i.e.: the attitude statistics of AI civilizations in the bottom right corner, or buildings bonuses in the production queue in the city display), very often these pop-ups are no longer displayed; the only way to restore these functions is to save and reload the game.
2) at the same time, in many case, I can't save the game with a name of my own, because the textbox in which the file name is written (and editable) doesn't detect the keys i'm pressing; it seems that the keys have effects in the game in the background, because if I press the number keys in the numpad, the units move!

2) did you click with your left mouse button into the textbox? but i've that others had this problem as well.

2) Yes, I did and the cursor was blinking normally in the textbox.. do you have links to threads in which others report the same problem?
