problems with Rise of Mankind

So i think the World Size & Speed mod is the troublemaker (Giant & Gigantic Map - Snail and Blitz gamespeed).
Wasn't that my modcomp that I made long time ago... :D Anyway, it's made entirely with BtS' xml modifiers ie. no extra SDK/python at all so I don't think it should cause any slowdowns other than when generating maps on those new bigger mapsizes.

I already merged a few mods its quite simple. If you read my prev post you may noticed it.
So before you post read! I looked at Aforess post. And already knew the subjects.
Im just new here and wanted to HELP. Not to cause trouble.

Maybe you didnt noticed but i appologized to him if he thought im just a sh*thead with a big mouth.

Yep i noticed, but somehow after merging this mod the loading time is really slow.
I mean loading the exe and loading the actual game.

I didnt have time to look at it yet. I just posted it because it was such a difference in loading time.
The mod im working on was established in 2 hours and i didnt look in the code all the way.
It also seems to me your component cant cause the problem, but maybe something else interferes with it.
Because without it the Next War + BUFFY still loads fast.

I know im just a newbie in your eyes, but you people probably also started as one in the beginnig.

Ps I'm having a hard time understanding why your system takes so long. I don't recall your OS and comp specs but even my old PIV 2.8Ghz system with only 2GB of 400mhz DDR ram didn't take the times to load that you have posted.

My new system: Win XP Pro 64bit with an E7400 DualCore chipset and 8gb of DDR2 1066 ram and a HD Radeon 4650 vid card with 512mb of DDR3, does reguire about a minute for full load time. And I don't consider that slow at all.

If we talk it out we will figure it out. As Pink Floyd said,"Lets just keep talking". :D

I just merged BAT with Next War and the map size mod.
My previous attempt (BUFFY instead of BAT) worked fine.
But now i did the same with BAT and somehow it doesnt work...
The game wont load... Maybe putting it to program files instead of doc&set will make it work.
Stupid that some mods use a fixed path instead of relative one.
 
Just stay focused and you'll do fine. :)

Now some of the Mods out there, like BAT and Buffy have .dll s that will conflict if merged to another Mod. Zappara has had to make BUG and REVDCM adaptations to get them to work with RoM.

As for fixed vs relative paths; Rom has always been in the program path. If you put it in the Docs path it has problems. Zappara does Not use SDK. Doesn't have the skillz or the time to learn them(yet). And even so he has done a marvelous job with the Core RoM Mod.
