Fairly simple problems I'm sure, but I'm not good with computers.

1. When I attempt to use NERO or the software included with the MP3 player, it tells me the files are protected by license not to be chared or something. I remember when I first started to put file into WMP that they asked me if I should protect licenses and I said yes. Anyway to change this and can I make the files I already have shareable?

2. I can't use .wma files on the MP3 player, it says it supports it on the box, but it doens't play the music, instead you hear nothing while the time zips by at 3x speed. Anyway to solve that? Or any quick way to change .wma's to .mp3's?

What mp3 player do you have? Have you looked for updated firmware to allow playing of DRM protected files?

I don't think you will be able to remove the protection from the files, so you may have to look for them again if you can't update your player. I don't have any experience with protected files though, as I only play wma files ripped from my cd collection.

As for wma files, if the player says it supports them then it should play them. This sounds more like a problem with the files than with the player. If you need a file converter, type "convert wma to mp3" into google.

I have an RCA RD1080. It says it should play WMA, but when I downloaded them, they simply didn't have music, but the numbers went by really fast. And the protection is realy annoying. Thanks for the help anyway.
