I have no screenshot for this because this has only happened to me twice and the games were decided/crashed 20-30 turns after this bug happened.

When I become disconnected from a multiplayer game I friend someone in the game to rejoin the multiplayer game.

When I get to the lobby screen showing which civ I will be loading into you can change what civ your civ was/is. The first time I was messing around with this and I discovered it by accident. The second time I tried it on purpose after I had been disconnected from a lag and it worked again.

So let me give you the scenario. I am using England in a game the first time and when rejoining from the lag I chose Arabia. I was able to build camel archers and baazars when I reloaded the game and still had the English civ (I could no longer build longbows, but I still had the longbows I had from prior the rejoin).

The second game I was Egypt had built the Great Library, Collosus, and I think the Hanging Gardens. I disconnected from lag and rejoined choosing Arabia again, and was able to build camel archers and bazaars.

I tried quiting on purpose and rejoining to see if it would work, but if I do this it does not allow me to choose the civ I want in the lobby reload.

I don't disconnect that often, so I have only done this twice (plus I don't really feel like cheating in games). I don't know if its only Arabia that makes this bug happen, but I would guess this bug would work for other civs too.

It could be abused (I haven't tested this so not sure exactly how viable this would be). One could take an early civilization with early unique units/buildings, and mass produce these. Then at a resync cause their game to crash and rejoin, choosing a new more modern civ (while maintaining all units/buildings they had before) and creating a powerful army/empire.

Let me make this clear, with this bug I was able to build Camel Archers and had Longbows from before. That combo made a dual threat to my opponents in my multiplayer game giving me easy chance at a win.

Dostayer is right. The unit must be from a CS.

I've never encountered the multiplayer issue you mention, Gucumatz. Seems strange since there is no way to change your civ midgame in any way afaik. And when my civ is changed by mods or something like that, any incompatibility makes the game completely unplayable.
