Can anyone explain the below? I have a city with 14 production, I want to build a Market with base cost 105/current cost 105. It shows I'd need 24 turns for it?!?
I havent been able to find any modifier or anything that can explain this. Rush cost is 420, so exactly 4*production cost.
Is the city occupied and you are still at war with China (looks like you are Rome)? Occupied cities are less productive.
Has the city ever had any districts razed and then repaired? I have found that when this happens, cities often become a lot less productive than they should. This sometimes resolves itself and sometimes lasts the whole game. I recall people previously mentioning some bug having to do with negative production.
I was in war, but wiped China few turns back. The city is mine, citizens are content. Yes, a district was pillaged and yes I found the thread about this bug, thanks. Sad to see such an obvious issue still not fixed few months after the release, guess it's back to older games for me
