I just notice when playing alpha centauri that I can bypassed the prototype extra cost. I design 2 similar unit with only a diference in the special.
now I have 2 similar unit like plama sentinel and trance plasma sentinel. now i go to designe workshop and upgrad the plama sentinel to trance plasma sentinel w/o cost and I have no prototype cost on the trance plasma sentinel
the bad news is i lost the +1 of moral on prototype as well
