Looking for the door...
I think we need a public investigation for the Presidential election. I just looked at that thread and the vote count was
15-5-2. I left to go scan the citizen forum by way of the main forum and saw dukes name as browsing that forum. I was gone for about a minute and went back to the main forum to look for anything duke may have posted. There I saw the run-off thread. Not understanding how Strider could have gotten 3 votes that quickly, I went to the Govt. forum to check the Presidential election thread. The vote now was 18-5-5 and the poll was closed. Personally, I'd like to know how the election poll, which hadn't changed in quite some time, got 6 votes just before the polls closed, changing the outcome of the VP race.

I'm not sure on all the timing of it but I do know that around 8:00PM (GMT -8) I made one proxy vote for Chieftess. I closed the polls at around 8:30PM or 9:00PM (GMT -8). We know Strider had two votes as of June 29th 4:16PM (GMT -8) from his post in the thread.
To see new people in the forum people would need to refresh their page if they were already in there to see the new people on the list. The same would be true for poll results. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a PM wave at the end of the day that people just followed a link to the poll.
I know that when I was closing and moving threads I did notice others in the forum, but did not take note of their names.
I will add this to the list of polls that need to be reviewed.

I'm also contemplating the next elections being by PM.
No polls. Each person would just send me one PM for who they vote for in each position. That would eliminate and poll stuffing and remove people being able to see what the current vote count is to affect their vote.
