But I used to have 900 troops against them and strategy, tactics and lines every time and I loose 500 troops to them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It makes me think that stories, well thought out strategy is not worth it anymore...

Ok, I just have stated THAT when starting the war I had 900 troops, almost double thier army at the time, AND strategy, tactics and lines, now what happend? Its the opposite, how?!?!

Unfortunately while going against more than 1 enemy...They get to grow more than 1 stat a turn...if they need they can grow 3 stats per turn...Which is one of the downsides of these NES's because people don't get bonusses for having a large Empire

"We are loosing men like flies. The French are dominating the battlefield. We need a plan, we need a real plan."
The room hushed, a needle can be heard from a mile away.
"But Sire, our lines are failing, our strategy is no good, battlefield tactics are a key needed for victory" my commander general states.
The officials in the room nodded thier heads, I actually thought this was the problem.
"We need ideas, we need more ideas. Over the centuries half our men was lost to the French. Our ally to the north are doing nothing. Diplomatic means are needed, we must make France the bad guy, we need more allies," I told them.
"Our Sicilian ally may help of some sort, no? We did sign the platinum alliance a while back, I think it is still in affect," my foriegn advisor remarked.
"Sire! We have the capabilities of Iron! We can make it any shape we want sir!"
"Yes! Yes, I remembered I had a dream, one year ago!" I said.
The dream was set in the Gaul capitol, where we were fighting. I was alongside my army and my best friend, Claudio. The battle began, arrows were in air. Then suddenly a sharp tool, which looked like our stone carvers flew directly at Claudio and took his eye. I woke up ate that point.
I told the men across the table of my marble stone palace about the dream. They were astounded, speechless.
I dismissed them for I had to work alone. For days and days past I couldn't draw these two weapons, when it finally came to me! What do woodcutters use to cut thier wood? Axes!
Soon after I called all of my woodcutters to Madrid and took thier axes, all of our maces and spears will be replaced with this axe. This war will be ours.
ORDERS:
-Make the two weapons above and copyright them, keep the from other nations that want to steal it.

The messanger's footsteps echoed in the silent hall of Harun Al Rashid. The caliph had been taking his daily rest when the tranquility was so suddenly broken. Still, the messanger obviously held good news, had he not said that a neighbors lands were for the picking?
"What? When did this occure?"
"I just got word of it ten days and 11 nights ago sire," he started, out of breath. "Their kingdom collapsed"
"What has become of their lands?" the caliph inquired.
"They are divided"
"Amongst who?"
"The Northern half is ruled by a new kingdom, the Babylonians, the South? The South, is nobody's land"
Harun Al Rashi immediatly called for generals to come to his side at once.
"Men, we will take a break from our great unification of the Arabs to gain something much more important. The former lands of Sumeria. We are to conquer it before anyone else does, and name it 'Al-Iraq'. In the very south, at the place where the Tigris and Euphrates meet and join their mother, the sea, build the city of 'Basrah' to ensure our dominance of the region"
"Yes my caliph" they shouted in unision.
And with that, the Arabs set out to gain new land yet again.

"Your Greatness, the Dravidians are at their last whim, they are dieing off, emperor, before our mighty arms!" Kaja Whie excalimed loudly, the emperor stood at his window. The town of Anuradhapura had grown excedingly large in the last century, sprouting not outwards, but vertically. In this iron age, the masons have been able to help the engineers in designing a palace for the Emperor that will rise, along a hill, to fifteen stories! This huge megolith will support temples for schools, and forums for culture.
Away from the peaceful island of Ceylon is the the battle grounds of western India. The Dravidians had been pushed out of their ancestral capital, a moral breaker to say the least. However, the remaining Dravidian forces have gathered at a city just north of the capital that is still within Dravidian hands. And there, in Mumbai, they have fortified. These walls were not to be broken easily, and so the top scientists of the day have begun on a project to build a rock thrower that would devastate anything it came into contact with. Until then, the army will surround the city and starve them.
This is the proposed siege weapon. It will be made into a UU.
And this is the Palace upon which will be supported by the hill.

Begin developing plans for the construction of a siege weapon called a Semira.
