Putting the CD on the harddrive..

In the original CIV, I could access one of the ini files and change where the game looked for the CD to a folder on my harddrive. Can the same thing be done for CIV4?

no - the game uses safedisc as its anti-piracy feature and that requires the cd to be present in the cd-drive for startup...
my opinion on this is non-printable, but that is unfortunately the way Take2 chooses to do it...
