I'm still working through basic game (bnw) but have been dipping into some mods. Not looking to meddle with AI or tech trees. So far, I've had good luck with the RED mod and a fix for Krakatoa GBR etc. Quick Turns is pretty good, but I'd love to speed up turns more.
I tried the Communitas set, but the game changes won't unpack from the excellent UI and processing features. Looking for tips on map script mods and UI mods. Wish list includes:
Maps that address CS clumping without just dumping them offshore like plus.
Earth or fake Earth maps without TSL. The Earth map in game sucks for lack of separation between the Americas and Eurasia (sorry Conquistadors )
Something that speeds up movement and combat without discarding the animations entirely. Communitas does this perfectly but only if you use the other parts.
Promotion icons for units. Again, like Communitas.
