Question about air interception animation

I have been going through and trying to update animations for my mod, not adding new ones exactly but modifying missiles, torpedoes and what not.

I noticed when making experiments that I can never see the jet fighter fire its missiles when intercepting or being intercepted, it looks more like it throws it's "bombs", which
looks like AGMs at the opposing aircraft. This with vanilla .kfm as well. I slowed down the time for the effect itself in the effects.xml.

Any know if I am doing something wrong or the effect is bugged or something? The effect is EFFECT_JETFIGHTER_MISSILE.

If anyone has a unit from a mod or anything where they have actually seen the aircraft fire anti air missiles at the opponent or vice versa, please give me
a link :)
 
I think it's a bug in the BTS exe file that prevents the animation from triggering.
