I currently do not have Visual Studio installed on my computer and need to do so in order to use ModBuddy. When I try to start ModBuddy a message comes up offering to install Visual Studio 2013 Isolated Shell.
Microsoft offers a separate download called Visual Studio Community. This is a pure guess on my part and could be wrong, but it looks to me like the Microsoft download is the entire Visual Studio package (for non-professionals). While the Firaxis installer is what is needed for Civ 6.
My question: Is there any advantage to installing the Microsoft's Visual Studio Community before installing the Visual Studio 2013 Isolated Shell that comes with the SDK? Will installing Microsoft's Visual Studio Community bring any benefits or cause any problems?
