Question about Double Your Pleasure Scenario

I'm not really sure where to put this question. This looked like the best folder as far as I could tell. Anyway I just got the Conquests/PtW version, and I'm trying to play the Double Your Pleasure scenario. Every time I try to reset the science research rate it goes back to 6.4.0 on the next turn. Does anyone know if it's possible to reset that so that it will stay until I'm ready to change it, or am I going to have to reset it every turn? Thanks.

There's a cap on how much of your budget you can spend on a particular area, like science or luxuries in DYP, this varies depending on which government you're under.
To change the limit, you'll have to change governments.

The slider should stay to what you to stay from turn to turn. Under no circumstances does it adjust itself. I don't know if the DyP mod changes it because I've never played it before.

There's a dedicated Double your Pleasure thread in the Creation & Customization section. There's also a DL'able successor to DyP, known as Rise and Rule (RaR).

If you have Conquest download Rise and Rule because that is better and bigger than Double your Pleasure. hope you like the mods.
