Question About Maps

Hope this is the right place for this questions, since you guys know about maps I thought this would be the right place to ask.

Since it is possible to add maps to the list of maps available, is it possible to easily remove them?

I ask this because when I set up a game, I like to have it pick a random map type, but there are some maps I don't like. So when I start a game, I'd like to be able to tell it to pick a random map and have it choose between Earth, continents, terra, and maybe some of the new ones posted here, but not have it pick things like north vs south.

Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Right way would be to mod the game. One could try deleting the files in "assets\Maps" but it may have unintended side effects (note: "may")

Also I think this forum is for posting map scripts, not asking questions. But I rarely read general forum
