question about patches

Just started with a fresh install of Civ3 (vanilla) as well as Conquests on my new Vista64 computer.

I grabbed the 1.29f patch as well as the 1.22 conquests patch and installed them both.

However, now I'm running into a bit of a pain in the neck problem - my worker units don't have the expanded commands that I remember them having in my old games .. things like "road/rail to" and the like.

Did I only need one of those patches? Any idea on what I can do to get those functions back?

Go into the game preferences screen and check the box that says "show advanced unit actions". That'll restore them.
