[GS] Question about walls

I’m sorry to keep bringing this up, but have encampments and cities always been this tough to take? Just tried to attack an encampment with 2 bombard corps and barely made a dent. I had to ignore the encampment and just go straight for the city.

In this case I think your enemy may either have bigger city or technologically superior by one era or both.
Encampments became a tough nut to take especially if parent city is Level8 or bigger and have R. walls built.

The walls have double hit points. Interestingly, an encampment garrison is only 100 not 200 so taking an encampment with a tower is quite easy. A tower means you ignore the walls.

Do siege towers work on encampments even after Medieval era?

Also i'm not quite sure if wall upgrades affects encampments too? beyond that building ancient walls made an encampment a fortress that can shoot at any enemy in range.

Ram only for ancient
Towers only for ancient and medieval walls.
It does not matter if they are city walls or encampment walls.
