Ok, so, here's my question. I'd like to create or tweak an existing map such that on an Earth map you can (A) select a specific leader within a civ (IE: game won't automatically stick you with Julius, you can pick Augustus if you want), (B) you don't HAVE to fill the entire map with all 34 civs, but can if you want to (IE: you could play the map with fewer civs).
Here's my overall dilemma. I fire up an "Earth-## Civs" style map. But MAN is it crowded. Not only that, but I can only select, say, Victoria if I want to play the British. No Churchill or Lizzie available. What I'd like to do is, say, create a scenario where I can pick the starting civs, have them start in their proper locations, and pick starting leaders, without things getting overly crowded. Or better still, limit the Earth 18 civs map to 18 civs, but have it randomly select leaders and civs from the entire complement of BTS civs/leaders.
Is that possible? Has it already been done and I just don't know about it? I apologize if this has been posted before, but I'm totally clueless about even how to construct a search string for this type of question.
