I've been a long time lurker on these boards and in the light of CiV I've been here a hell of a lot recently and now consider myself a fully fledged civ fanatic
Have been playing since Civ2 and am ridiculously excited about next week's release!
Anyway my question is this:
As i'm in the UK I have to wait until the 24th to play which totally sucks but that's another story! I intend on buying from D2D and the UK site lists CiV as beeing available on the 21st???
Has anyone else noticed this?? So I guess what I'm asking is even if I can download the game on the 21st I guess Steam won't allow me to activate it until the 24th??
Seems so stupid that in this day and age of digital distribution that we're made to wait for no decernable reason!
