I have just been reading through every single stiky in this and designated sub forums. And have yet to actually work out what its all about. Can someone please explain how we, the common lil people play the game, and whats actually happening.

Welcome Moonshine!

Basic map: Main Democracy thread is for elections, turn chats, etc. Turn chats are when the game is played by one person, but he and other people meet in the chat room so people can follow every move. Leaders dictate what the Designated Player (DP-the guy that plays the game) has to do. Generally 10 turns or less are played. Then we meet and decide what to do next.

Citizen's Subforum: This is where discussions take place. Any decision is first brought up here and talked about with everyone. Highlights include the Information Department where Strider does a good job of keeping all the important info in one place.

Government subforum is where the official offices are. We are in Term 4 right now.

Polls are where all polls except elections are held.

RPG subforum is a combination of the RPG game (which is just getting off the ground, not much has happened) and general citizen groups meet. The two are not mutually inclusive. One of the citizen's groups is the Coalition of Citizens. This is a place where newer people can ask any question, and veteran players will pop in and answer the question.

The Multi-Team Game is a seperate game in which the people divide into 5 teams and play against each other.

Also have the intersite demogame forum here now but thats secret, basically its cfc against the world, apply in the top sticky and you get to see the forum.

Thank you very much. I hope to be active in these forums. If I can get my damned Civ to work(It take precedance lol)

You don't need a working copy of Civ 4 to participate; in fact a lot of members have slower computers that can't run Civ 4, or they don't even have copies! You're always welcome to participate in discussions, or start one if you have an idea or concern. It is helpful though to be able to open the save and gather information (be careful not to play the save though!)

Another question, since I jsut became active in the dmeogame, where can I find out when the next turnchat is?

The DP for each session will post a thread in the main forum (this one) called the Turn Chat Instruction thread (or TCIT). This thread will contain the date and time of that session.

At the time I posted this, there is no active TCIT posted for the next session.

Hi. I'm bright new in demogame and I would like to ask some questions. First of all, where can I get current "save" to see whats happening in the game lately? It is hard to maintain informations from screenshts etc.
