I feel this falls in this category since id o want to create maps/worlds. Each time i run the WorldBuilder via steam and by directly clicking on the .exe in windows explorer. It crashes :( Any one can help me with that?

Secondly, blonde moment maybe. But i downloaded couple civs and other mods/tweaks like(size of world and city states), but on the load the game crashed. Any idea why?

And whats the guideline to using mods: Can we just use any mod, if you got 10mods downloaded and you enable all 10, will it work? or can there be compatibility issues, like how it was in CIV4?

1)what do you mean, you click on the Civilization 5 SDK and it crashes? or your clicking directly onto World Builder? Try double clicking the Civilization 5 SDK, then select worldbuilder from that menu, if its the latter. If its the former, maybe you don't have the VS isolated shell that is required for some of the sdk, not sure really.

2)Did you go into Mods, then enable the ones you wanted, then go back, and "setup game"?

3)Well actually both are true, you can have 10 mods loaded at the same time so long as they are compatible....the only way to really know right now is to be aware of what data they add/change and don't use mods together that alter the same data, or functions.

1) I tried both and i did install the VS Isolated shell, The other Tools work, only the worldbuilder crashes, oh and it installed on STEAM is installed on my D: Drive.

2) Yes, i think it is that though, since there where the couple of duplicated city states in 2 of the mods,

3)Ok thanks for that, i dont know why but i find this more complicated than previous civ lol guess need to get used to it.

Thanks for the help:)

sorted it out:> Directx Files where missing in the folder:/
