And is there some setting I can do to have my DA tell me about discontent before citizens shut down production? I read somewhere about re-arrainging my cities list by population which would help, just wondering if I can get her to say 'hey, lookit this' before the incident.

If you clik on the Population header, the F1 advisor screen will sort high-low or low-high, and you can see the various population and how happy they are from there. But it's difficult to tell which city is about to be in disorder, so using a moodbadge graphics mod helps greatly with this.

Easier to use CRpSuite or CivAssistII, but once you get used to the above method it can work out too.

He just means the editor, I think. (civ3edit)

Save the changes with a name.
Enter Civ3/C3C
Click on Load Scenario/Civ Content
Load your file.

That's all.

Not really a question about civ 3, more about CFC. How can I find out how many people are subscribed to a thread? People seem to be quoting these figures, but I can't work out how to find them out.

Thanks in advance.

Thunderfall might be able to tell, but AFAIK there's no way to tell unless someone specifically says "I'm subscribed to this thread."

Ah. Maybe I got the wrong idea when I was reading some threads. I guess it could just have been people posting and saying 'subscribed' that was being counted by the thread starter. Thanks for the reply Turner. :D

It's the first of your answers, Turner.

I've been playing civ III pretty much since it first came out and only realised this a few months ago!

is there any command to make units move at the pace of the slowest one? (say i want my navy to follow my slow carrier and always end turn on the same tile)

I think if you use the group movement command (J in Vanilla and Ctrl-J in PTW/C3C) on the slowest group, then all the units that are active will move the number of tiles that the slowest unit will go. This will keep the movement points available for the other units. And if you use the faster units, they will only travel as far as the slowest unit. But you lose the movement points remaining for the fast units. End result - Use 'j' to move them, and they all should move together.
