There were some 'extras' units that came only with PTW, not with C3C. These units, which are Dinosaurs, WWII units, and Feudal Japan units. To get these units, just get them here on the forums: WWII Units, Dinosaurs, and the Feudal Japan units (of which I couldn't find the link for -- you could ask the C&C forum if they have the thread link, sorr!).

I'm pretty sure that the units that came with vanilla stayed in their directory too. Only the new stuff went into the C3C directories.

Well there are two things he was talking about - (1) only new units to Conquests are in the Conquests folder. All the core units from vanilla stayed in their folders, as you said. (2) The "units that came with PTW but not C3C" were just extras units.

I'm not sure if he was asking why there weren't settler, worker, warrior, etc., units in his C3C folder, or about the non-C3C PTW units.

i suggest that you bombard said island with everything youve got whilst you blockade the island in order to stop escapees. Once you feel that the rubble bears no risk. You attack with either berserkers or marines.

How can I attack a city on an one-square-island? I can't bring my units on land because there is none, except for the city, and I can't attack from the sea (my transport) either. If someone can help, thanks a lot! :)
Addendum to Tim Bentley's note: The AI will usually give up a town you want in order to make Peace, if you have pounded them sufficiently!...........However, if there is a resource such as ivory in the city's borders, it WON'T give up that city! (Even if it's a resource to be discovered in the future!!........As you know, the AI cheats!)

Luckily, 1-square islands have a low probability of containing a resource! ;)

Question regarding the editor:

I don't know how to put it in English, so I'll try an example:
Cities that belong to Germany are called "German" cities. Where do you define the name "German" in a scenario?

When you've enabled custom rules in the editor, you can edit a number of things. Under the tab civilizations, you can pick a civilization and change the noun and adjective of the civilization in the upper left corner of this screen. You were talking about the adjective for the nation Germany.

whats the best programme to use so to be able to view animated leaderhead flcs?

I'll find out for myself soon enough, but it doesn't hurt to ask ahead of time...

If the AI has a "soft" target, like an undefended city they can't reach in one turn, will they attack Cavalry Armies with TOW Inf.?

This would be my guess. If not, there be something else in the utilities subforum.

I usually find they go for the easier targets, although I can't remember them having that much attack (compared to my armies).

Disband the army in a corrupt town and get the shields for it. Create a new one in your military academy city and put shiny new units in it.

I think that in the Vanilla version of Civ3, the exploit has something to do with airlifting units out of the armies, IIRC. ;)
