The river and eng are not connected for defense AFAIK. The eng just removes the movement penality. The 25% is a penality for fighting across the river and borders should not matter.

Iron, yeah I often forget about that. It just seems iron is a given so late in the game, but it can be cut.

I don't remember where the goody huts are...check your Civilization III/art/terrain.

Or something like that.

Search for goodyhuts.pcx, and start in your Civlization III folder.

BTW, what the heck are bridges????? I saw recently in the Editor, and I was about to ask: at Construction it was written "enables bridges". I heard here that it comes with engineering. Anyway, I presume that it's changed in Conquests, as Map trading, contact trading, and others.

But I still don't know what's this.

And: anyone (who played Vanilla) noticed you have in the editor the option that certain civs "Build often:" or "Build never:" Regicide and Mass Regicide while those where not enabled in Vanilla.

Last one: Nobody knows the earliest conquest victory?

Earliest conquest victories - 3750BC, multiple times, using the Incas (contrived circumstances, on Regent or below). Check the Hall of Fame for a full breakdown of earliest conquest wins for various levels / map types.

Well, the filename is railroad.pcx, I believe. Might be railroads, but the extention is .pcx.

And yes, art files that are change in the Civ3 folders can and do affect PTW & C3C.

Don't have civ in front of me, so I'm not sure. And I'm pretty sure the extensions should be .pcx.

Look in your CivilizationIII/Art/Terrain folder. Or search the Civ3 folders for rail* and see what pops up. Be careful, some mods might change it.

I just checked, and my railroads file is C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\Civilization III\Art\Terrain\railroads.pcx.

What program would I need to open pcx files?
