Civ3 conquest. Conquest is the expansion pack that adds some nice stuff to civ 3.
As far as how much time I spend on civ, depends. Sometimes Ill play solid, but as I find civ3 could have been much better then it was I've often let it collect dust.
Can anyone help with this one. I can't play Scientific Leaders with my modded CivC game. There is nowhere in the Scenario properties like the other conditions too select them and once the scenario is picked in the game menu... only the preset conditions are there and can't be changed. How do I get around this (if possible)?
By the way, I just stumbled across Watorrey's fix for the lazy barbarians in CivC... I pretty happy about being able to fix it.
Is there any way to disable or bypass the confirmation window asking if I really want to turn a mine into irrigation or visa versa? Or a way to order a bunch of workers all to mine or irrigate so that I at least don't have to confirm for each individual worker?
Anyone know what a good tech rate is for me to set in the editor. I am using Rhye's 180X180 map for a 8 Civ hotseat game. It was set at 250 and great for the ancient era, but once I got to the middle ages all techs were only taking 4 turns and it was way too fast. Should I adjust it a bit higher to say 300 or should I just make each tech cost more on the advances page?
You can edit the individual tech costs in the editor, where ever they are defined. Probably better to do it that way, instead of making the AA harder than it is now.
Ok thank, I will just up the techs individually a bit and see how that goes. I was fortunate enough to read about the size bug a while ago... (I noticed it in your sig.)
