When all else fails, shoot them. :D
Yes, I guess if I feel that a clean rep will no longer help me conquer the world, I will take a hefty load from one of those nations, and... :backstab: Shabang!
Workers+Cavalry+Cavalry armies+Riflemen/infantry+artillery+communism=BLITZKRIEG!

You know what would be just keen, if you could see military movement on the replay map, and/or save the replay map (the one at the end). I'm guessing no, but is there possibility of a mod?

Not quite this detailed, but some nice arrows would be cool, like if you set a continental rally point in your territory, and were invading a nation on the continent, it would show thin lines from several cities converging on a point (maybe jagged to represent RR movement) and then a thick arrow from there to represent a big stack.

Oh... wishful thinking....

To my knowledge, only militaristic makes harbors cheaper. I don't know about Commercial Docks, by the time you can build them, it no longer matters anyway.

No, Seafering does make harbor's and commercial docks cheaper ;).

Seafaring only makes Harbors and Commercial Docks cheaper, right?

Not only that but also...

One more food for each water tile worked, +1 movement point to naval units and less chance of sinking in ocean tiles :). There might be more though.

My bad,..

One more food for each water tile worked

...but I'm absolutely sure this isn't true!

Otherwise seafaring would be even more powerful than agricultural.

There might be more though.
Coastal cities produce +1 commerce in the city center.

I thought it was an extra food . Ok, well an extra commerce.

@ thetrooper: What do you mean by in the city centre?

That suddenly reminded me of England. They can make obscene numbers of gpt

Too bad they trigger GA for the Colossus - my favorite wonder.

:ack:

What are the bonuses for commercial civs wrt city centre tile?

I always forget. It's linked to city size IIRC.

I think the bonus is 1 for cities, 3 for metros.... I don't think towns get anything.

Course, those are off the top of my head and are probably wrong.

True or false question:
After an elite unit wins a combat & you are fortunate to be awarded a Great Military Leader, you are asked to assign this unit a special name of your choice. Okay, fine. Now my question is: can this same unit with the special name ever again create another Great Military Leader after winning further combats??
I have been playing Civ3 for 6 yrs. & never had a second GML with a unit with a special name. Is there something in the programming that prevents this from re-curring?? Has anyone experienced this? I play on Emporer level & have tried 100's of time without sucess.
Thanks
