A unit can only generate one MGL.

You can upgrade that unit though (i.e. swordsman >> mace).

The mace will become a veteran and this unit can go all the way again.

:)

Edit: Blimey! X-post!

Ok, I thought so. It just seems pretty useless because only one square will get the benifit.
The thing is, none of the 1 unit boosts seem to make a big difference. But in the beginning of the game, one extra unit per turn adds up.

What I mean is that later in the game it makes up a much lower percentage of your income, since most cities grow, and improve.

True. It doesn't seem really good at first but I suppose if you think about it... Yeah, it can add up quite a bit of gold. But I still don't think it will bring a hundred because...

1) lots of cities are corrupt. So the extra commerce will go to waste.

2) The majority of cities are inland.

3) It doesn't mean you'll get an extra gold per turn in your treasury. For example, if you had 60% science, it's more likely to go to science research (Which is good but, it still doesn't give you the extra 1gpt)

But other than that, it does bring quite a fair bit of extra gold in the treasury.

Troop's trying to be cute. You said 'waist' (i.e. - stomach) instead of 'waste'.

I, of course, knew what you meant.

I tried the image tags, guess it didn't work. Upload it to photobucket, and then you can make an image of it.

I think it has something to do with an attachment.

I hate the F3 CTD bug. It doesn't hit me often, but when it does I tend to save before hitting F3, or doing F3 at the beginning of the turn.

Very frustrating.

If you know there is a problem with the F3 button why would you continue use it?

I never knew of this problem before, I have always used the icon in the top left corner to go to my advisors.

It's happened to me a couple of times, but it's just an occasional thing. For me it happens when leaving the Military Advisor screen, regardless of how I got there. Click the "x" or another advisor, and next thing I know I'm looking at the desktop again.

I haven't had any problems like that. But what did happen once was, when I left the Trade window, (How you trade all these things to the AI) there were no leader heads. Then when I went to the domestic advisor, everything was distort, and all the leader heads were floating above the cities (Where the Sciecne and Lux slider is). But after I opened and closed the window, things were fine again.

What he said. It seems to go in spurts for me. But fortunately not very often.
