While I'm at it, this granary is no good as far as I can see. Here I am building nice things for my people and what do I get  .

The granary empties when the town becomes a city, and when the city becomes a metro. It will be back at half full when you go to pop 8.

Will I get a attitude hit or lose my reputation if I back out of alliances that I created to dog-pile on another civ? There are 11 turns left in the alliance and I am considering making peace since I am getting considerable WW. I am allied with four other civs, that is everyone left who is of any significance and none of them has made peace yet.

Yes, you will lose your reputation. The AI views you as if you broke a 20 turn deal (which, you did). Try not to keep units in the AI territory and not lose any units, and your WW won't go worse too quickly.

It's already bad. I am running a 40% lux slider in democracy with 4-5 luxuries hooked up (can't remember if its 4 or 5), but I have one more that will be hooked in a turn or two. I can keep raising the slider but I'll lose my science. One reason I went to war was the english were consistantly beating me to new tech by about one turn.

Here is the good news. I can send in the clowns and delay a bit longer. But I dont know if I can last 11 turns.

I am the Celts so I am thinking of revolting and taking a two turn switch to monarchy. The world knows communism but I dont, I might even be able to trade for it though. I need some more men, but a longer war might let me take two more english cities and that should permanantly cripple england.

Anarchy's probably your better bet. You'll have problems for the first turn of anarchy, I think, but it should be survivable.

Is there a way to automate workers to clean up pollution only?

I am late in a game and at war, and my workers at home have nothing to do except clean up pollution. I don't want to set them to automate, because I like where I mined and irrigated.

Shift-P (Shift-D in C3C) should do the trick for you. If you have advanced worker buttons activated (PTW & C3C) you should see the button for 'Auto Pollution(Damage) cleanup'.

C3C 1.22 it is...thing about it is that Republic will take 25 turns no matter the science input. It's not anarchy and everything seems normal methinks. I'm wondering if there's a simple reason that I've missed, but maybe there are little bugs in that file? Never happend before.
There is a maximum research time of 50 turns (obviously you've researched for 25 turns already). Regardless of how much gold you put into research, it will never take longer than 50 turns (and therefore it is a waste to have higher research if it doesn't complete faster; usually even 100% research of republic will take 50 turns).

Do the half-price buildings for certain traits apply to wonders with those traits too? For example, would a religious civ build the Sistine Chapel Wonder at half price?

No, only regular city improvements get half-priced.

Imagine the Egyptians building the Pyramids for a quarter of the price! :D

I have a question:

In C3C, how many "unused" scientific great leaders (SGL) and military great leaders (MGL) can I have at the same time in any given turn? Please note the word "unused" - for example, I have a SGL that I save from 20 turns ago and I haven't used him yet then this turn another SGL come to join....this mean I currently have two "unused" SGLs at the same time. Therefore, my question: Is there a limit on how many I can have at the same time in any given turn? Also, is it possible to have more than one unused MGL at the same time?

I think I know the answer, but I just want some confirmation. Thanks!
