quick question please help!!!!

im sorry if this question has already been brought up or answered in this thread, I just have not been able to find it.

I have sort of a problem here. Later in the game when wonder cinematic/movies come up my game always exits out to the desktop. This happens about 50% of the time. Sometimes the wonder movie does work, however this is very annoying to me.

So I have 2 questions....

Is there a way for me to turn off the movies/cinematics altogther in like the options page??

Will this be fixed in the upcoming patch?

and again I am sorry if these questions have already been addressed but help is appreciated.

no, but you can turn it off in the ini file, check the fix-it list for how-to.

later in game your hard drive is going mad, so no unless you by 4 gig ram and fast ide/ate ultra 6 minimum hardrive, 2 of them, cos you need to put the otherd in second ide cable to use maximum speed that civ wants for swapping
