How long on average does it take you to finish a game against the Ai or Multi? Just an average of your games unless you want to be specific and include map size, number of civs etc.

Blood!

I usually play on large maps and go for high scores so my games often last many weeks...of course I don't exactly have hours and hours to play everyday like some people on this forum.

It takes me about a week also to finish a large map game.
The map that takes the most time to end is the pacific

I tend to play on large maps, with several opponents, which makes for relatively long games. But then again, I also tend to have several games running "at the same time" ( not simultanously, but I tend to shift from game to game ) so it can take me up to a month to finish one game. But if I would set aside everything else and try to finish one game I guess it'd take one week or so...

I am notoriously slow.

I have serious doubts that I can complete the april GOTM before the deadline.

I'm probably with most people who play a large map with many different opponents in that I'll take a few weeks to get control of the map. This assumes a schedule such as a few hours one night, none the next, maybe an hour the next night and so on.

Lately, once feel that I have control of the "world", I find it so tedious to keep on pushing a score that I often abandon the game and begin a new one. Unless I'm going for a HOF or a personal best, running the score is hideous and I like better the challenge of an early game.

Agree 100% Kev. Once the game is de facto over, I find no reason to make it de jure. The best games are when it goes right down to the wire.
